Bioshock Infinite’s story-based DLCs, Burial at Sea have been announced by critically acclaimed title’s developers, Irrational Games. The DLCs, set to release later this year, takes gamers back to the iconic underwater city, Rapture, before it suffered the revolutionary destruction and drug-infused chaos that led it to its dereliction in the first two titles. The DLC in its entirety (over the two episodes) will lead up to the original Bioshock, and will feature both Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth in starring roles throughout, allowing players to play as the Lamb of Columbia for the first time.
Creative director of Irrational Games Ken Levine commented: “We are really excited to offer our fans the content that they have been asking for… With the Burial at Sea episodes, we are building a Rapture-based narrative experience that is almost entirely built from scratch.”
The Burial at Sea episodes will release at $15 (approximately R150) or for 1200 MSP each, and will be available free to owners of the Season Pass.
So, are you ready to return to Rapture?
