Geek Fest 2013: ITF Gaming hosting Injustice: Gods Among Us Tournament

On the 31st of August at Dark Carnival’s first Geek Fest trade day, ITF Gaming will be hosting an Injustice: Gods Among Us tournament, inside the smaller of the two halls at the venue!

Our competition will pit hero against villain, hero against hero, villain against villain and friend against friend. For a day so full of violence, ITF Gaming’s Injustice Tournament promises to be a fun-filled experience!

We are currently looking at single bouts for competitors, who will be allowed to bring their own standard controllers (Unfortunately, at this point, no arcade gamepads are permitted). However, there will be some awesome prizes up for grabs – so watch this space for more details, including times and prize announcements!

Ticket Prices:

  • R40 for Adults and R20 for Children under 12 if ordered in advance from
  • R50 for Adults and R25 for Children under 12 on the day
  • Normal ticket price + R60 secures you entrance into the Injustice competition (and if you’re lucky, an awkward hug from Jonathan)

Other Attractions on the day will include:

  • Live Action Role Play (LARP)
  • Market Stalls
  • Beer Garden
  • On-Site Photography
  • Medieval Sword-Play and Medieval Dress
  • Tattoo Artists
  • Tournaments:

Most, if not all, of our Johannesburg-based team will be there, which includes Darryl, Jonathan, Tracy and myself (Bracken), so come by, kick some superhero ass, and say hi to us!

Below you’ll find a poster with the details!

Injustice: Gods Among Us Tournament

Little is known about the origins of this species of ITF Gaming writer, other than it dwells in the badlands beyond Brakpan, consumes copious amounts of popcorn and Coca-Cola, lurks on both PlayStation Network and Xbox Live and will obsessively play anything from FIFA to Borderlands. Ocassionally churning out reviews and articles, one may spot this creature on this website (Oh hi!) or on the Facebook page, where it will always do its best to respond to your comments.
